Quick and easy to install

Kalirel - Quick and easy to install;  Kalirel  Electric Heating can be installed within one day, all the benefits of low installation flexibility and low maintenance. All that is needed to fit a Kalirel radiator is a fused (5 to 13 amp) wall fuse spur socket or fuse spur timer, so you can purchase a whole system or add one to existing heating.

There are three designs to choose from – Systelia, Ambelia and Java – which are modern and attractive.

Each Kalirel electric radiator works independently, providing the right amount of heat for each room. The radiators are easy and quick to install which makes them cost effective on both new installations and where additions are required to exisiting systems.

The steel or aluminium body contributes to the best heat exchange characteristics in a similar way to normal wet central heating radiators - but without the need for a boiler or pipes.

WALL MOUNTING

Kalirel has been designed for the installer to be quick and easy to install, with features such as pre-wired electrical connections and fast fit, simple, secure assembly wall fixings brackets kit.

1- Install the radiator to a wall with the brackets according to the drilling dimension.
2- Use plugs and screws adapted to the structure of the walls where the radiator will be mount.
3- The radiator electrical connection must be carried out in a standardized fuse spur, fuse spur programmer (5- 10 or 13 amps).
4- The radiator must be supplied with 230 V- 50 Hz single-phase and neutral.

a- The radiator is "class II" with dual insulation, double insuleted.
b- The radiator is not equipped with an earth wire and it is strictly forbidden to connect it to the ground.
c- For thermostats equipped with a pilot wire to be connected to programming systems, it is essential to get a correct connection of the phase and neutral.

Wiring Instructions :

Colour code:  BROWN: connection with the phase 
                       BLUE: connection with the neutral 
                       BLACK: connection with the pilot wire (if & where necessary).

d- If the pilot wire is not connected, the wire tip must be insulated.
e-  The pilot wire direct connection to the power supply (phase, neutral or earth) will destroy the thermostat.

CAUTION: Before any installation or operation on the electrical circuit, please cut off the power supply with the circuit breaker, fuse spur or with the main circuit breaker and check if there is live wire. , For safety, Appliances should only be installed by a competent person, in accordance with the current I.E.E. Regulations. Call us If you need further help or guidance.


The appliance should NOT in any event be connected to the earth.

The black wire is for pilot wire programming use ONLY. The pilot wire direct connection to supply will DESTROY the thermostat.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a old storage heaters system, retain all the waring and fuses spur, just replace your old radiator with the KALIREL system, the loading for a similar number of Kalirel radiators will be significantly lower, therefore cheap to run. This is mainly due to their efficiency and also the totally different way they operate and temperature timed controlled. "Also you will finaly enjoy the full control of the heat". 

Kalirel heating is a responsive electric heating system that works on "unrestricted" electrical supplies, economy 7 contract not required and not suitable, However you keep all the existing wiring. Each room OR ZONE OF THE HOUSE can be individually controlled by time and temperatures either by remote controller, via an electronic time clock or pilot wire programmer. During anytime of the day or night the heaters can be manually overwritten for lowering or increasing temperature, they can also been switched on background, frost protection or off permanently.

The radiator is designed ONLY for a 230-240 V ~ single phase electric power network. Do NOT use any other electric power network than the one just indicated. The various conductors supplying our devices must be protected by a circuit breaker having a 10 A rating in compliance with the CEI 364-5-53 standard’s prescriptions. If your home electric installation has to be changed to use your device, call a qualified electrician to make the changes. Do NOT dismount or modify the device.

- The kalirel radiators that i have installed are perfect for our needs, we did have economy 7 heaters, but they were not controlable, Now with the kalirel radiators and economy 10 we have perfect controlable heat through out our home when we want it and i didn't have to destroy my house with having to lay pipework because they were so simple to install and with the remarkable radio control which is packed with extra controls and economy saving features it makes for the perfect heating system.
