High Efficiency THERMAflow ELECTRIC COMBINATION BOILERS - National Distribution The THERMAflow Range The Thermaflow range of Electric Combination boilers are designed to meet evolving needs and address issues raised by high energy prices and climate change. The 99% plus efficiency rating and its design to operate on peak avoidance tariffs allows for major savings on running costs and energy use. The range is suitable for sealed heating systems and underfloor heating with different outputs of units available. THERMAflow boilers provide an extremely fast response to both hot water and heating needs; - Hot water at taps within approximately 5-10 seconds
- Radiators reach maximum temperature within 3 minutes
The integration of expansion tanks allow the fast response and mains pressure hot water at high flow rates. This makes the unit ideal for power showers without the need for a booster pump. |

THERMAflow Operation High Efficiency Electric Combination Boilers
The Thermaflow Electric Combination Boiler is designed to operate on peak avoidance tariffs. Energy availability is controlled by signals transmitted over normal radio frequencies. The boiler is hard wired to the teleswitch via a 2-pole isolator. It requires a 50amp or 63amp supply (depending on which model is fitted). Typical Tariff: Scottish power Economy 2000 tariff for example provides 18hrs of electricity per day at 4.70p/Kw hr. Interrupting the supply at times of maximum power station demand for 3x2 hour periods per day. Approximate shut down periods are 8.00am until 10.00am, 4.30pm until 6.30pm and from 12.00am until 2.00am. N.B. Contact your electricity supply company for accurate and up to date tariffs and their costs.
